WACRI Salon with Chris Curran a Success

July 31st Event Sold Out Early...More Planned

On July 31st WACRI held our third "salon" at the Welty residence in Providence. Our featured guest was Chris Curran, Assistant to the Deputy Secretary of the United States Department of State.

Over 30 members and guests attended and were treated to a wonderful selection of foods, beverages and desserts. Mr. Curran gave attendees a candid and eye-opening talk about his experiences in the U.S. State Department and answered questions off the record about United States foreign policy.

We are sorry we could not have more members attend, and want to thank Ellen Welty and her husband Michael Middeleer for creating such a beautiful and elegant setting..

We hope to see you at our next salon!
