Global energy sources and producers are rapidly changing. Wind, solar, and fuel cell technology are all coming on strong as alternatives to oil and natural gas. New methods of extracting fossil fuels have changed the balance of power in world energy markets and driving down prices to levels thought unreachable a few years ago. And then there is global warming to deal with! Where is this all heading?
Dr. Francis O'Sullivan, Director of Research and Analysis at the MIT Energy Initiative will help us understand the winners and losers in the changing energy landscape and what we might be using to heat our homes and power our cars in future years.
The World Affairs Council Of Rhode Island is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
